Responsibilities

• Developing maintainable, scalable, clean code for web applications
• Managing tickets, debugging and processing change requests
• Collaborating with the team to build new products, features and functionality
• Participating in peer code reviews to maintain the quality of code
• Implementing secure coding practices to prevent security risks
• Evaluate, revise, and maintain existing codebase
• Optimize page load time and overall web application performance
• Work closely with designers to seamlessly integrate design elements into code

Requirements

• Strong experience with PHP, MySQL and JavaScript
• Advanced knowledge of web development frameworks – Laravel is advantageous
• Experience with JavaScript and Linux is also advantageous
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbally skills in English communication and interpersonal skills
